From Dreams to Duty: Punjab Youth Applaud CM Bhagwant Mann for Transforming Their Futures

For many young people across Punjab, landing a stable Govt Jobs was once a distant dream. But over the last three years, that dream has turned into reality for thousands, thanks to what many are calling a transparent and merit-based system introduced under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

On Wednesday, a group of newly appointed government employees came together not only to receive their appointment letters but also to express heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister. Their stories reflect hope, perseverance, and the promise of a brighter future.

One such inspiring story comes from Sandeep Kaur of Patiala, who proudly shared that she has secured her sixth government job during the Mann government’s tenure. “The state’s progressive sports policy has opened up so many doors for us,” she said. “I am deeply thankful and promise to serve with full dedication.”

Gurjeet Singh from Moga, the newly appointed Agriculture Development Officer (ADO), spoke candidly about his journey filled with challenges. “There were moments of self-doubt after failing several exams,” he admitted. “But my mother never let me give up. Today, I owe my success to her and to the state government’s commitment to transparency.”

The impact of the government’s inclusive policies goes beyond jobs. Para-athlete Mohammed Yasser, who is preparing for international competitions, acknowledged the state’s financial support of ₹13 lakh for his training. “What touches me most is the equal recognition given to para-athletes. It shows that this government truly believes in fairness.”

Geetika from Sangrur also highlighted the importance of equal opportunity, especially for young women. “This Govt Job is more than just a livelihood — it’s empowerment. The transparent process ensures that girls like me don’t just dream, we achieve.”

Adding to these voices, Vipanjot Arora from Jalalabad, now serving as an ADO, marked this as his third Govt Jobs under the current administration. Having earlier cleared exams for the Patwari and Sub Inspector posts, he emphasized how merit has become the only criterion. “I’ve seen the process firsthand. It’s fair, it’s clean, and it works.”

As these youth prepare to step into their new roles, they represent a wave of transformation sweeping across Punjab — a state where opportunities are no longer limited by privilege but earned through perseverance and talent. And for many of them, this change has a name: Bhagwant Mann.
