Ludhiana, Punjab: Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains spent the day on the ground as part of a Ludhiana Cleanliness Drive, taking stock of sanitation arrangements and interacting directly with sanitation workers across the city.

Sharing details of his visit, the minister said he conducted a comprehensive tour of Ludhiana to assess the effectiveness of civic services and understand the challenges faced by frontline workers responsible for maintaining cleanliness.

Harjot Singh Bains Interacts with Safai Sewaks

A key highlight of the Ludhiana Cleanliness Drive was the minister’s interaction with Safai Sewaks working in different parts of the city. During these meetings, Harjot Singh Bains listened to their concerns, gathered feedback on operational issues, and reviewed the current state of sanitation services.

He said the discussions helped identify both the strengths of the existing system and areas that require immediate attention. The minister emphasized that feedback from field workers is crucial for improving public service delivery and ensuring cleaner urban spaces.
