In a significant address during the Punjab Vidhan Sabha session, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh emphasized the need to ensure dignity, respect, and social recognition for the working class. He stated that Harbhajan Singh strongly believes that giving workers their rightful place in society is the true demand of the time.
While speaking in the House, Harbhajan extended congratulations to all members for the successful implementation of the Jagat Jyot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Act. He called it a landmark step in preserving religious sanctity and strengthening cultural values in Punjab.

Harbhajan Singh Calls for Urgent Action on Labourers’ Economic Insecurity and Lack of Social Recognition
Highlighting the struggles of labourers, Harbhajan pointed out that workers face daily challenges such as economic insecurity, lack of proper facilities, and limited social recognition. He stressed that these issues must be addressed on priority through effective policies and implementation.

Reiterating his commitment, Harbhajan said that the vision of workers’ welfare must go beyond words and be reflected in real action. According to him, ensuring dignity, status, and honor for labourers should remain at the core of governance and policymaking.
The Minister once again underlined that Harbhajan stands firmly for labour rights and believes that no society can progress without respecting its workers. He called for collective efforts from all stakeholders to uplift the working class and ensure fair treatment in every sector.
