Punjab govt hosts state-level Christmas celebration in Gurdaspur; CM Mann, AAP leaders convey greetings and honor Christian community.
At Dana Mandi in Gurdaspur, the Punjab government hosted a state-level Christmas celebration . Chief visitors at the event included Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, Cabinet Minister, and State President of the Aam Aadmi Party, Aman Arora. On behalf of AAP Punjab Incharge Sh. Manish Sisodia, Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, and AAP National Convenor Sh. Arvind Kejriwal, they sent Christmas greetings to the state’s citizens, sharing the joy of the holy occasion with the Christian community.Additionally present at the occasion, Apostle Dr. Ankur Yousaf Narula wished the congregation a happy Christmas.
Speaking to the assembly, Cheema claimed that even in the midst of adversity, Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated to humanity the way of truth, constancy, and dedication. According to him, Christmas conveys messages of forgiveness, love, harmony, and compassion. He continued by saying that everyone would continue to be motivated to work for the well-being and service of humanity by Lord Jesus Christ’s message of peace and humanity.
On behalf of the party leadership, Aman Arora said that Lord Jesus Christ preached love, unity, and brotherhood during his Christmas greetings. According to him, the Punjab government, by God’s grace, celebrated Christmas at the state level in Gurdaspur this year in response to a long-standing request from the Christian community. The state government would also organize the event the next year. According to him, these initiatives promote social cohesion and inspire people to serve others. He went on to say that people are still guided by the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ .

Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi, the AAP Working President and Batala MLA, also sent out Christmas congratulations, stating that the Punjab government observed the holiday at the state level in Gurdaspur as a sign of respect for all religions.According to Deepak Bali, advisor to the Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board, the Punjab government fully respects all religions, which is why the special Christmas event was planned. On this important occasion, he greeted the congregation.
Jatinder Masih Gaurav, the chairman of the Punjab Minority Commission, and Daniel Bhatti, the chairman of the Punjab Christian Welfare Board, also welcomed everyone on this auspicious occasion and expressed gratitude to the Punjab government and Apostle Dr. Ankur Yousaf Narula. They made a number of requests pertaining to the Christian community, which the cabinet ministers promised to fulfill.
The Christian community received Christmas wishes from the District President and Gurdaspur Joban Randhawa, Chairman of the District Planning Committee. The establishment of Masih Chowks at Gurdaspur, Batala, Dera Baba Nanak, Dhariwal, and Fatehgarh Churian was announced in honor of the event.
Previously, Apostle Dr. Ankur Yousaf Narula declared that Lord Jesus Christ sent the message of peace and love to the entire universe in his sermon. On Christmas, he welcomed the assembly. To celebrate Christmas, a cake was cut, and a number of people were honored.
