Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann continued the ongoing Bhagwant Mann Shukrana Yatra with a visit to the sacred Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, marking the third day of the spiritual and public outreach journey.

During the visit, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the overwhelming public participation, stating that despite a working day and intense heat, people arrived in large numbers to offer blessings and support. He said this affection strengthens the government’s resolve to work for Punjab’s development.

The Bhagwant Mann Shukrana Yatra was highlighted as a journey of gratitude and spiritual connection, where the Chief Minister bowed his head at the holy shrine and reaffirmed his respect for Sikh Gurus and their teachings. He said that the blessings of Guru Sahib continue to guide the government in its efforts.

Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that it is due to divine blessings that the government has been able to implement strict laws like the Jagot Jyot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Respect Act to prevent incidents of sacrilege. The Bhagwant Mann Shukrana Yatra was described as a commitment to safeguarding religious sentiments and ensuring justice in such cases.

The Chief Minister also stated that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji represents the message of universal welfare and harmony for all humanity. Through the Bhagwant Mann Shukrana Yatra, he reiterated that the government remains committed to upholding these values while promoting peace and unity in the state.

He further remarked that previous governments allegedly worked for personal interests, while the current administration is focused on public welfare, transparency, and Punjab’s progress. Concluding the visit, the Chief Minister assured that his government remains dedicated to maintaining communal harmony, respecting Sikh traditions, and ensuring continuous development across Punjab.
