As part of the review, the minister also met members of the Chemist Association to ensure the uninterrupted availability of medicines for people across Punjab. Officials highlighted the importance of maintaining a smooth supply chain so that essential medicines remain easily accessible in both urban and rural areas.
The meeting also placed strong emphasis on digital transformation in the healthcare sector. DITSU presented its annual report, which was reviewed by the minister to evaluate ongoing technological advancements in public health services.
