Patiala (Punjab): Under the ongoing Mission Vikas, the Punjab government has taken another major step towards strengthening rural infrastructure in Patiala. Cabinet Minister Balbir Singh laid the foundation stone for a new road project leading to Baba Deep Singh Nagar (Rural Patiala), near the river bridge, with an estimated cost of around ₹28 lakh. The initiative marks a significant milestone in the Patiala development projects under Mission Vikas, aimed at improving connectivity and local infrastructure.
During the event, officials also reviewed ongoing river-related works to ensure the safety of residents from potential flood damage. The government reaffirmed that the Patiala development projects under Mission Vikas are focused on both infrastructure expansion and disaster prevention measures.
