Under the Chief Minister Tirth Yatra Scheme, 42 elderly citizens from Ajnala were given a warm send-off on a special pilgrimage bus arranged by the Punjab government. The initiative aims to provide free and comfortable religious travel to senior citizens visiting sacred sites across the state.

The pilgrims under the Chief Minister Tirth Yatra Scheme will travel to Sri Anandpur Sahib and Sri Kiratpur Sahib during a three-day spiritual journey. The entire trip is being fully funded by the government, ensuring no financial burden on the participants.

Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal Expresses Joy While Flagging Off Pilgrims Under Chief Minister Tirth Yatra Scheme

Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, who flagged off the journey, expressed happiness while seeing off the elderly pilgrims.
