Haryana Minister Rao Narbir Singh: KMP Expressway Key to Industrial Growth and New Cities

Rao Narbir Singh outlines plans for five new cities and 10 Industrial Model Townships along the KMP Expressway, emphasizing investment, employment, and infrastructure growth.

Haryana : Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh emphasized the strategic importance of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway, a 135-kilometre corridor under the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), as a key asset for the state’s industrial and infrastructural expansion.

The Minister Narbir Singh  said that, keeping in mind the projected population growth by 2031, the government has established the Panchgram Development Authority to develop five new cities along the expressway, aiming to create modern urban hubs that will drive economic and industrial growth.

Rao Narbir Singh noted that Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) will play a vital role in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat-2047, with the KMP Expressway serving as a strong foundation for connectivity and industrial development. He added that the Haryana government has amended its industrial policies to boost investment, employment, and infrastructure projects.

Rao Narbir Singh Emphasizes HSIIDC’s Commitment to Streamlined Industrial Services

The Minister Rao Narbir Singh  stressed that HSIIDC’s role goes beyond revenue generation, focusing on providing efficient services, simplified processes, and a supportive environment for industrialists.

Rao Narbir Singh  also highlighted Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s plan to establish 10 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) by 2030, five of which have already been approved and are under development. Three of these IMTs will be located in the NCR, with the KMP Expressway acting as a central axis. The development of these ten new IMTs and five cities will position Haryana as a leader in India’s industrial revolution.
