CM Nayab Singh Saini Accuses Opposition of Spreading Pension Rumors, Highlights Tech-Driven Delivery

Taking a dig at the Opposition, Nayab Singh Saini accused them of deliberately circulating rumors about pension discontinuation to create confusion among senior citizens, calling such misinformation irresponsible. He emphasised that the government has implemented a transparent, technology-driven pension delivery system, where beneficiaries now receive real-time SMS alerts once their pension is credited, allowing hassle-free withdrawals without repeated visits to government offices.

Contrasting with the previous Congress regime, the Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini noted that seniors previously endured long delays and often had to make multiple trips to offices under harsh conditions, with little administrative responsiveness. He also explained that temporary payment holds occur only when discrepancies or complaints arise, and pensions are promptly released following verification.

Nayab Singh Saini concluded by underscoring the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability, assuring that the Haryana administration ensures elderly citizens receive their entitlements with dignity, efficiency, and without unnecessary hardship.
