Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday announced that the state will implement India’s first-ever fair ride safety policy to set comprehensive safety standards for amusement rides and recreational equipment. The policy is aimed at preventing accidents and enhancing regulatory oversight to ensure public safety.
CM Nayab Singh Saini Responds to Surajkund Amusement Ride Accident
Speaking to the media at Haryana Niwas, CM Nayab Singh Saini said the government is committed to taking strict and effective measures to avoid incidents like the recent Surajkund amusement ride mishap. He described the accident as unfortunate and confirmed that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.

The Chief Minister Nayab Saini added that all injured individuals are receiving treatment, with the Haryana government covering all medical expenses. In addition, financial aid of Rs. 1 lakh will be provided to each seriously injured person. Paying tribute to Inspector Jagdish, who died in the incident, CM Saini announced that a government job and financial assistance will be provided to one member of the deceased officer’s family.
