Faridabad : Following the recent swing accident at the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini visited the fair premises and met the three injured individuals admitted to Supreme Hospital, Faridabad. The Chief Minister inquired about their condition, wished them a speedy recovery, and assured that the government stands firmly with them. He termed the incident “unfortunate” and emphasized that the state government is taking the matter very seriously. The Haryana Government will bear the full cost of treatment for the injured.

CM Nayab Saini Ensures Support for Victims’ Families and Strengthens Public Safety Measures
Paying tribute to Inspector Jagdish Prasad, who lost his life in the accident, CM Nayab Saini announced that his family will receive a government job along with financial assistance. He further stated that a “Swing Safety Policy” will be formulated to ensure the safety of swings and amusement rides at fairs and events, aiming to prevent such incidents in the future and enhance public safety.
