Ludhiana  – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Saini on Sunday alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has failed to fulfill its promises to the people of Punjab, even after four years in power. Addressing the Purvanchal Samman Rally in Ludhiana, he claimed that both Congress and AAP are involved in corruption, adding that AAP has surpassed Congress in this regard.

Praising Ludhiana as a hub of industry, he referred to the city as the “industrial capital of Punjab” and the “Manchester of India,” lauding its hardworking population. He described Punjab as the land of Gurus, saints, and brave warriors, emphasizing its role as the soul of India, guardian of the borders, and a symbol of courage.

The Chief Minister Nayab Saini  reiterated that AAP has done little for the state, failing to honor a single promise. Nayab Saini criticized AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, for projecting themselves as honest while their actions, including legal troubles, have exposed their true character. “While Congress gave birth to corruption, AAP has allowed it to flourish,” he added.

Highlighting achievements in Haryana, Saini said the state government is rapidly fulfilling its commitments. He cited initiatives such as subsidized gas cylinders for women at Rs. 500, free dialysis in government hospitals, procurement of all crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP), and employment for around two lakh youth through a transparent process. Under schemes like Ayushman/Chirayu, 27 lakh families have received free medical treatment, while senior citizens over 70 receive special healthcare benefits. He also mentioned the Lado Lakshmi Yojana, providing Rs. 2,100 per month to eligible women, and loans of up to Rs. 5 lakh at 4 percent interest to promote self-reliance.

Nayab Saini Promises Strict Action on Drugs and Gangster Culture in Punjab under BJP

Nayab Saini criticized the AAP for failing to curb drug abuse, warning that the BJP will take strict action against drug-related activities and gangster culture in Punjab once it forms the government in 2027. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on development and assured that all central schemes will be fully implemented in Punjab under BJP governance.

The Chief Minister Nayab Saini also condemned AAP’s obstruction of the rally, alleging that people and vehicles were deliberately stopped from attending, reflecting a poor mentality. He urged the public to vote for the BJP to bring a government capable of making Punjab the top-performing state.

During the programme, BJP State Working President Sh. Ashwani Sharma and rally organizer Sh. Rajesh Mishra also addressed the gathering, calling on people to ensure the formation of a BJP government in the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections.
