Haryana CM Nayab Saini Inaugurates International Saini Bhawan, Unveils Statues of Social Reformers

Statues of Gautama Buddha, Jyotirao Phule, Savitribai Phule, and Shoor Sain unveiled; Rs 51 lakh grant announced for Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Trust

Delhi– Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini on Sunday inaugurated the International Saini Bhawan at Mangolpuri, Delhi. During the event, he also unveiled statues of Gautama Buddha, Jyotirao Phule, Savitribai Phule, and Shoor Sain installed at the premises. The Chief Minister further announced a grant of Rs. 51 lakh for the Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Trust.

Addressing the gathering, Saini praised Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Mata Savitribai Phule for their contributions to education and social reform. He said the ceremony reflects the ideals, values, and vision that guided Indian society, awakened social consciousness, and strengthened the path of justice, education, and equality. He described the unveiling of the statues as a tribute to the spirit that brought light in times of darkness.

CM Nayab Saini Honors Phules as Pioneers of Social Reform and Education

The Chief Minister Nayab Saini highlighted the pioneering work of the Phules, noting that they were not merely names but pillars of social reform who laid a strong foundation for equality and education. At a time when educating daughters was considered a crime, Mata Savitribai Phule worked tirelessly to promote knowledge. Both fought against caste discrimination and social injustice, using education as a tool to spread reform and enlightenment.

No Weapon Greater Than Education

Nayab Saini emphasized that the statues will serve as a reminder that there is no weapon greater than education, no religion greater than equality, and no national duty greater than humanity. He urged everyone to encourage daughters to pursue education, raise their voices against discrimination, and work collectively to ensure education reaches every individual in society.

During the event, Trust President Shripal Saini briefed the Chief Minister Nayab Saini about various activities undertaken by the Trust and presented its demands. The ceremony was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Singh, former MP Raj Kumar Saini, former Minister Dharam Singh, Uttar Pradesh Minister Jaswant Saini, Gulab Singh, and several other dignitaries.
