Haryana Expands AYUSH Dispensaries to Promote Accessible and Affordable Traditional Healthcare

State Government to Open 26 New AYUSH Dispensaries Across Five Districts, Strengthening Traditional Medicine Services

Haryana : Health Minister Arti Singh Rao stated that AYUSH dispensaries play a vital role in building a healthier nation by making India’s traditional healthcare systems safe, affordable, and accessible. In line with this vision, the state government has approved the opening of 26 additional government AYUSH dispensaries across five districts, with plans to extend them to the remaining districts after proper mapping.

The Minister highlighted that the government is committed to providing affordable and accessible treatment to all residents. These new AYUSH dispensaries will include five villages in Rewari — Lisan, Karwara Manakpur, Rohdai, Jaisinghpura, and Jhabuwa; six villages in Mahendragarh — Surjanwas, Gudha, Buchawas, Bawania, Rambas, and Rasoolpur; one village in Karnal — Fafdana; four villages in Kurukshetra — Ajrana Kalan, Kalsa, Nalvi, and Mohri; and ten villages in Yamunanagar — Mahiyuddinpur, Ratangarh, Bhangra, Takpur, Khurdaban, Tajewala, Hadauli, Ledi, Kot Baswa Singh, and Darpur.

Arti Singh Rao further emphasized that the Haryana government is actively promoting AYUSH systems statewide, strengthening services, and establishing an AYUSH University in Kurukshetra. She reaffirmed the government’s dedication to enhancing the health and well-being of the people of Haryana.
