Nayab Saini said that the nation observes Samarpan Diwas to remember that politics should be a medium of service, not a means to power. He described Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as a leader who did not seek authority but ruled the hearts of the people through honesty and dedication to national service.
He highlighted that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s principles, such as Integral Humanism (Ekatm Manavvad) and Antyodaya, were rooted in India’s culture, traditions, and social values. The progress of society, he noted, should be measured by the well-being of the most vulnerable — including villages, farmers, the poor, oppressed, exploited, and tribal communities. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya believed that a nation cannot be strong unless every individual is empowered.
Antyodaya in Action Through PM Modi’s Sabka Saath Initiatives : Nayab Saini
Nayab Saini further said that in line with Antyodaya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas ensures that government benefits reach every eligible citizen. Initiatives like housing schemes, Ujjwala gas connections, electricity, clean drinking water, and free rations for 80 crore people reflect the practical implementation of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s ideals.
In Haryana, programs inspired by Antyodaya aim to reach the poorest sections of society and address basic needs such as food, clothing, housing, education, and healthcare. Currently, 41 lakh poor families are provided free rations, while under the Har Ghar–Har Grihini scheme, 14.5 lakh families receive gas cylinders at Rs 500.

Under the Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojana, Rs 80,000 has been provided for house repairs to families from Scheduled Castes, Vimukt Jatis, and Tapriwas Jatis living below the poverty line, totaling Rs 416 crore for 76,985 beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister Nayab Saini urged citizens to embrace Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s ideals in their daily lives, decisions, and actions. He stated that remaining committed to national and social service and working for the upliftment of the poor is the truest tribute to the great leader.
