Ahmedabad/Surat/GujaratA review meeting of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP Gujarat ) was held in Surat, attended by the state in-charge Gopal Rai and state organization secretary Manoj Sorathia. The meeting saw a large turnout of party workers, who discussed strategies, responsibilities, and plans for strengthening the party’s presence in the region.

Gopal Rai highlighted the dual responsibility Surat carries for securing victory in future elections, noting that the city has been a key focus since AAP’s first rally in Gujarat, led by party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. He praised Surat workers for their continuous efforts despite challenges, including attempts by opposition parties to destabilize AAP Gujarat  and Congress MLAs. Rai underscored that Surat workers actively contributed to the party’s strong performance in previous assembly and Visavadar elections, proving AAP’s ability to contest even in opposition strongholds.

State organization secretary Manoj Sorathia emphasized the importance of collective review, saying that evaluating work across zones and wards inspires workers and strengthens organizational performance. He acknowledged the challenges faced by AAP Gujarat workers, including legal cases and arrests, and praised their resilience, stating that such dedication would build Gujarat’s future leadership. Sorathia also pointed out that the upcoming elections are like a semifinal, where the consistent effort of workers will determine success, and reaffirmed the party’s goal to win the Surat mayoral seat by 2027.
