AAP has established a robust organizational structure across seven zones in Gujarat—North Gujarat, Central Gujarat, West Gujarat, Saurashtra Zone-1, Saurashtra Zone-2, South Gujarat, and Kutch Zone. Each zone will have a zonal committee comprising a zonal president, in-charge, co-in-charge, Lok Sabha in-charge, co-in-charge, associates, district president, city president, Assembly in-charge, and associates.
Candidate selection and election strategy will follow a two-tier process. Zonal committees will first scrutinize potential candidates and forward suitable names to the State Election Committee, which will then review and submit the final list for approval by the National Working Committee and PAC. Once approved, the candidates will be officially announced.
Sorathia highlighted that the upcoming local self-government elections serve as a “semi-final” ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. He assured that AAP will perform strongly in Taluka Panchayats, Zilla Panchayats, Municipalities, and Municipal Corporations, promoting honest and transparent governance. With the committees in place, the candidate selection process has begun, and all candidates for the upcoming elections will be announced within a month.
