Delhi: Saurabh Bhardwaj, Delhi MLA and Delhi State Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Friday termed the day as “Fraud Day”, accusing the BJP of winning Delhi elections a year ago through alleged false promises, fraud, and misuse of funds.
Addressing the media, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that BJP leader Pravesh Verma had allegedly distributed ₹1,100 to women at his residence and issued cards promising monthly payments for the next five years. “He claimed the funds were provided by his father’s NGO. However, after the elections, both the ₹1,100 payments and the NGO disappeared. This was how BJP allegedly conducted its first fraudulent election in Delhi,” Saurabh Bhardwaj said.
