Bihar CM Nitish Kumar orders officials to stay in offices every Monday & Friday from Jan 19 to address public complaints under Saat Nischay-3.
Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, issued an order for government representatives to remain in their offices every Monday and Friday in order to meet with people who have complaints and resolve their issues.
According to Kumar, in order to facilitate public access, representatives from all departments—including the police—must be on hand over these two days, ranging from the panchayat level to the divisional level.
The agreement is set to take effect on January 19.
“It is frequently observed that when common people go to government offices with their problems, officials remain absent,” Kumar wrote in a post on X. Officials have been ordered to stay in their offices on Mondays and Fridays exclusively to make sure that individuals don’t encounter any problems.
“Common people will benefit from this system, and their complaints will be promptly addressed,” he continued. On these two days, officials from the gram panchayat, police station, block, subdivision, district, division, and state levels must interact with people at their offices.

According to Kumar, the program is a component of the state government’s “Saat Nischay-3” effort, which was started after the party took office on November 20, 2025.
The program will be implemented over five years, from 2025 to 2030, with the goal of making Bihar a developed state. It emphasizes on “Sabka Samman-Jeevan Aasaan” (ease of life).
“Every government office will make preparations for the guests, particularly during these two days. “Every office will keep a record of the complaints that visitors have made, and plans will be made to monitor the complaints continuously,” the CM stated.
