Bangladesh now hold 58.33 percentage points from two wins, one loss, and one draw in four Tests. In contrast, India have 48.15 percentage points from nine Tests, with four wins and four defeats along with one draw.

India Struggling in Current WTC Cycle
The Indian team, led by Shubman Gill, has not played a Test match this year so far. Despite reaching the finals in the first two editions of the World Test Championship, India are currently under pressure in the ongoing cycle.
A one-off Test against Afghanistan is scheduled for June 6, but it will not be part of the World Test Championship rankings cycle.

India are set to tour Sri Lanka and New Zealand for two Tests each later this year. They will also host Australia in a future series in 2027, which could significantly impact their position in the World Test Championship rankings.
India’s recent struggles include a 0-2 home series loss to South Africa and a 2-2 drawn series in England, contributing to their drop in standings.

At the top of the World Test Championship rankings, Australia remain dominant with 87.50 percentage points, followed by New Zealand in second place. South Africa sit third, while Sri Lanka occupy fourth position.
Pakistan remain in eighth place after a disappointing series defeat to Bangladesh, further tightening competition in the current WTC cycle.
