The series will begin on October 22, 2026, with the T20 format and will continue until December 1, 2026, depending on the duration of the final Test match.

The India vs New Zealand Series 2026 will open with a five-match T20 International series starting in Christchurch. The T20Is will be played across Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland, and Hamilton, with all matches scheduled at 1:30 PM IST.
The T20 leg will run from October 22 to November 1, marking the first phase of India’s full-format tour of New Zealand.
ODI Series to Follow After T20Is
After the T20 series, the India vs New Zealand Series 2026 will move into a five-match ODI series beginning on November 4. Matches will be held in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, and Mount Maunganui.
