Despite Esha’s triumph, the event brought disappointment for other Indian shooters. Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker narrowly missed the final, finishing 12th in qualification with 582-19x, while Rahi Sarnobat ended 14th.
Esha Singh will next compete in the women’s 10m air pistol event in Munich, where she will once again share the stage with Manu Bhaker as India continues its campaign at the World Cup.
