Punjab Students Visit Japan Under SAKURA Science Program, to be Honored by Vidhan Sabha

Students will be felicitated during upcoming days at Punjab Vidhan Sabha: Sandhwan

Chandigarh, December 21: As part of the SAKURA Science Exchange program, ten students from Punjab Govt schools visited Japan to gain first hand knowledge about the Science Technology and cultural values of various countries.

Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, disclosed that among the participants are Harmandeep Kaur from the Govt Girls Sen Sec School in Mansa, Jasmeet Kaur from Govt Girls Sen Sec School in Bhawanigarh Sangrur, Sanjna Kumari from Govt Sen Sec Smart School in Model Town Patiala, Sapna from Meritorious School in Bathinda, Nisha Rani from the School of Eminence in Kapurthala, Gurwinder Kaur from Meritorious School in Firozepur, Dipika from Govt Kaneya Sen Sec School in Maur Mandi Bathinda, Khuwaish from Govt Sen Sec School in Randhawa Msanda Jalandhar and Udaynoor Singh Govt High Sshool Guruwali Amritsa and Tania Govt High Sshool khai pheme ke Ferozepur.

The Speaker said that these students showcased their skills in understanding the Science Technology, Japanese language and cultural ethos in just a few days during the program.

S. Sandhwan added that these students will be invited to the Punjab Legislative Assembly in upcoming days and will be felicitated with 11 thousand rupees to each student to imbibe the spirit of serve the country and Punjab. S. Sandhwan specifically extended the words of thanks towards the parents of these brilliant students.
