According to an official, police have planned extensive security measures for the Indian cricket team’s road show on Thursday night in Mumbai, where a sizable crowd is anticipated to see the parade. The squad won the T20 World Cup.

The winning team, which arrived back in the nation on Thursday morning, will participate in an open bus road show before being honored at the south Mumbai Wankhede Stadium.

According to the official on Wednesday, the triumph procession will start at Nariman Point and end at Wankhede Stadium between 5 and 7 p.m.

According to him, police are taking every precaution to prevent any unpleasant incident because a sizable crowd is anticipated for the occasion.

According to the source, there is enough protection in place along Marine Drive between Wankhede Stadium and Nariman Point.

Thousands of supporters lined up outside the airport in the nation’s capital to greet the T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team as they arrived on Thursday from Barbados. Despite a persistent drizzle and heightened security measures that kept them apart from their heroes, the fans were still excited to see their heroes.

Hurricane Beryl postponed the Indian squad’s departure from Barbados.

“The group will meet at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s house at 11:00 a.m. The squad will next go to Mumbai, where a ceremony has been scheduled, vice-president of the BCCI Rajeev Shukla informed PTI.

We will honor and congratulate the players with the Rs 125 crore prize money that has been announced when there is a road show in an open bus starting at Nariman Point,” he continued.

After 11 years without an ICC trophy, the team ended the nation’s 11-year wait on Saturday by winning its second T20 world title.

India’s last ICC championship came from winning the Champions Trophy with Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2013.
