This initiative of Punjab Government will be an important step for better future of children

Chandigarh, March 4 : The Punjab government will start computer courses for children above 14 years of age in Bal Ghars. This was announced by the Minister of Social Security, Women and Child Development, Dr. Baljit Kaur here today.

Providing information in this regard, the Cabinet Minister said that this initiative has been started for the first time by the Punjab Government for the children of Bal Ghars. She further informed that computer courses will be initiated for children above 14 years of age in Bal Ghars and computer labs will also be established for younger children.

Minister added that this initiative of the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is an important step towards ensuring the welfare of children in the state and providing them with opportunities for a better future.

Dr Baljit Kaur mentioned that in these children’s homes run by the Punjab government, basic needs such as care, food, clothing, education, medical assistance, free living and accommodation are provided.
