Kolkata:  At a high-energy public meeting in Barrackpore, PM Modi West Bengal rally marked a crucial campaign push ahead of the second phase of voting in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s performance, stating that he would return to attend the BJP’s oath-taking ceremony after the results.

Election Schedule

The West Bengal Assembly elections are being held in multiple phases. The first phase on April 23 recorded a turnout of 93.19%, the highest in the state’s history. The second phase of voting is scheduled for April 29, with results to be declared on May 4.
