Tel Aviv: The PM Modi Israel Visit marked a significant diplomatic moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage at Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial, alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The solemn ceremony underscored shared historical sensitivities and the growing strategic partnership between India and Israel during the Prime Minister’s two-day visit.

PM Modi Israel Visit: Warm Welcome in Tel Aviv

Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, Prime Minister Modi was received by Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sarah Netanyahu, highlighting the warmth and depth of bilateral ties.

The visit reflects the strengthening cooperation between the two nations across defense, technology, agriculture, and counter-terrorism.

Historic Address at the Knesset

As part of the PM Modi Israel Visit, the Prime Minister delivered a landmark speech at the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament.

In his address, he drew parallels between India and Israel in their fight against terrorism, emphasizing a “consistent and uncompromising policy of zero tolerance for terrorism with no double standards.”

Speaking about the Holocaust, the Prime Minister described it as “one of humanity’s darkest chapters.” He also highlighted historical acts of compassion, recalling how the Maharaja of Nawanagar, known as the Jam Saheb of Gujarat, provided refuge to Polish and Jewish children during World War II.

Gaza Peace Initiative and Regional Stability
