Held at 47 locations nationwide, 19th Rozgar Mela 2026 continues India’s major employment generation initiative

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates during the 19th Rozgar Mela , scheduled for 23rd May 2026 at 11 AM via video conferencing. He will also address the newly appointed youth on this important occasion.

The 19th Rozgar Mela is part of the government’s continued effort to strengthen employment opportunities across the country. Since its launch, nearly 12 lakh recruitment letters have already been issued through 18 Rozgar Melas held nationwide, making the 19th Rozgar Mela 2026 a continuation of one of the largest recruitment drives in India.

19th Rozgar Mela 2026 to Be Held at 47 Locations Nationwide for Wider Participation and Seamless Appointment Letter Distribution

This edition of the 19th Rozgar Mela will be organised at 47 different locations across India, ensuring wider participation and smooth distribution of appointment letters to selected candidates from various regions.

The newly appointed youth under the 19th Rozgar Mela 2026 will join multiple key Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, including the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, and Department of Higher Education, among others.
