Governor administers oath to Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel administered oath to the Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners of Madhya Pradesh State Information Commission today. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also present on this occasion. The swearing-in ceremony was organized at Sandipani Auditorium of Raj Bhavan.

Governor Shri Patel administered the oath of office to Shri Vijay Yadav as Chief Information Commissioner. He also administered the oath of office to Dr. Vandana Gandhi, Dr. Umashankar Pachauri, and Shri Omkar Nath as State Information Commissioners. The Governor and the Chief Minister extended his best wishes and congratulated the Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners by presenting them with bouquets.

Those present in the swearing-in ceremony were Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Jagdish Deora and Shri Rajendra Shukla, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Public Assets Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Sports, Youth Welfare and Cooperatives Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State (Independent charge) for Backward Class and Minority Welfare, Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Smt. Krishna Gaur, Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel, Khajuraho MP Shri V.D. Sharma, Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Kumar Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Shri S.N. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Governor Shri Mukesh Chand Gupta, Secretary General Administration Shri Anil Kumar Suchari and many other distinguished guests. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Dubey conducted the ceremony.
