The Kannada film Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 has released its official trailer. Diljit Dosanjh sang the title track in the teaser as well.

Delhi, New Delhi:  the eagerly anticipated trailer for the Pan-India film Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 was shown. According to the trailer, the 2022 blockbuster’s prequel would be released in 2025 on Gandhi Jayanti.

Like the first installment, Rishabh Shetty is the writer and director of Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1, and he also plays the main character.

Kantara : What’s in the trailer?

Once more, Rishabh Shetty is portrayed in the trailer as being appropriate for his people. But compared to the first film, the plot appears more confusing this time. Although the main character in this film was depicted battling against caste prejudice and unjust land acquisition, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 takes a more traditional approach.

Rishabh plays the part of the god’s ambassador in the movie, who would stand up for the people and fight against injustice, while Bollywood actor Gulshan Devaiah plays the evil King Kulasekhara. The trailer for Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 looks amazing, but it’s still unclear if viewers will find it to be up to par.

Date of release for Chapter 1 of Kantara: A Legend

On October 2, 2025, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 will be available in Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Vijay Kiragandur is the producer of the movie, which is distributed by Hombale Films.

In addition to Rishabh Shetty, Rukmini Vasant, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah play important parts in Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1. The music for this movie was composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath. Anirudh Mahesh and Shanil Gowtham co-wrote the movie with Rishabh.
