According to a report, the creators of The Royals Season 2 have chosen to change the core tone of the show. Instead of continuing as a romantic comedy, the series will now evolve into a family drama.

A source shared that what truly connected with viewers in season one was not the love story but the royal family itself. The interactions between Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, and Ishaan Khatter received the most appreciation from the audience.

The source explained that The Royals Season 2 will now build on that response, focusing more on the royal family world and its internal relationships.
