Choreographers Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji reveal behind-the-scenes experiences with stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Tamannaah, and Vijay Deverakonda.

The choreographers behind popular films like Tamannaah Bhatia’s Nasha, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Bijuria, and Diljit Dosanjh’s viral song Kufar, Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji, recently talked about their experiences working with some of the greatest names in the business.
“Bhai’s” food truck and the Salman Khan experience

In a conversation with Hindi Rush, Shazia said that Salman Khan’s sets come with a signature benefit – his personal Being Human food truck. “When we received a call from Salman Khan… Everyone is aware that his films have a food tent. The Being Human truck is there on his every shoot and they provide the yummiest food. I recall having lunch with Bhai and the food tasted better because he was there in front of us,” she shared.

Calling Shah Rukh Khan “the last of the stars,” they also stated that they would like to work with him.

Ananya Panday’s development and Vijay Deverakonda’s anxiety

The couple, who choreographed Liger, recalled Vijay’s first trepidation when he first saw the steps. When Vijay initially saw the choreography, he was extremely alarmed and exclaimed, “Bhai marva dia tum logo ne, what are you making me do? How will I do it?’” they revealed.

They commended his discipline, saying, “He was so scared that I thought he won’t be able to perform. Despite his anxiety, he practiced a lot and paid close attention during training, and once he was on set, he got over his nervousness. His expertise and ethics deserve all the praise.

They also discussed about Ananya Panday’s progress as a performer. “When Ananya started her career with Student Of The Year 2, she came to us for training. Over the years, she has developed significantly. Ananya is not a terrific dancer but she is really hard-working,” they said.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s intense preparation for “Nasha”

Discussing Raid 2 song Nasha, they stated that Tamannaah pulled off the performance with minimum rehearsal time. “Nasha was a marathon because Tamannaah had many projects lined up… She merely spent two days and two hours a day practicing. They remembered that the song was filmed in two days.

Regarding Bollywood’s growing entourage expenses

Additionally, the choreographers addressed the growing issue of exorbitant entourage costs. According to them, the debate around the problem has made actors more mindful. “Entourage is ruining the game and a lot of people have spoken against it… Of course, she has a team as well, but they praised Tamannaah’s professionalism.

Using the example of “Aamir Sir having stated that since his driver is working for him and not the film, why will I take his fees from the producer?” they went on to say that celebrities have become more aware of their actions.
