Television actor Ridhima Pandit, who recently appeared as a contestant on the reality show The 50, has strongly denied rumours connecting her romantically with cricketer Shubman Gill. The gossip, which suggested that the two were planning a secret wedding in Jaipur in December 2024, has been dismissed by Ridhima as completely false.
In an interview with Zoom, Ridhima clarified that there is no truth to the speculation. She emphasized her non-controversial nature and joked that her personal life is “boring” and does not offer any material for scandal.
“There’s nothing like that. I’m a non-controversial person and I want to keep it that way. I’ve never wronged anyone or spoken badly about anyone. I don’t create romances just for the screen either. Honestly, I’m quite a boring person. There’s nothing about me that anyone can dig up,” Ridhima said.

Ridhima Pandit Denies Shubman Gill Wedding Rumours
The actress further addressed the issue in a previous interview with Filmygyan, clarifying that she does not personally know Shubman Gill. While she praised him as a talented cricketer and admitted she finds him “cute,” Ridhima insisted that there is no romantic relationship or wedding plans between them.

“Firstly, I don’t even know him. I think he’s a fantastic sportsman, but I don’t know him personally. If we ever meet, I’m sure we’ll just laugh about these rumours. Yes, I do think he’s very cute, but unfortunately nothing is going on between us,” she said.
Actress Frustrated with False Speculations
Ridhima had earlier rejected wedding speculations through a video statement, stressing that if any significant event like marriage were happening in her life, she would announce it personally. She expressed frustration over the repeated spread of false rumours, calling them “ridiculous” and attributing them to social media gossip.

“I woke up with a lot of calls from journalists asking about my marriage, but what marriage? I am not getting married, and if something important like this is happening in my life, I myself would come out and announce the news. There is no truth to this news,” she said.
In a statement to Bombay Times, Ridhima added, “It is some people’s imagination, I guess! Somebody creates a story, and then it goes viral on social media. I don’t even know Shubman Gill personally. This is ridiculous. I started receiving congratulatory messages since morning, and I was tired of denying this gossip. I finally decided to post it on my social media handle.”
The actress’s repeated denials make it clear that the rumours linking her to Shubman Gill and suggesting a secret wedding are baseless. Fans are urged to rely on official statements from Ridhima rather than viral social media claims.
