After Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt made a striking appearance at the BAFTA Awards 2026, confidently taking the stage as a presenter. The Raazi star presented the award for Best Film Not in the English Language and began her introduction in Hindi before seamlessly translating it into English for the international audience.

Greeting the crowd with a warm “Namaskar,” Alia Bhatt said, “Namaskar! Agla award ek aisi film ke liye hai, jo angrezi mein nahi hai.” She then added in English, “Don’t reach for the subtitles just yet. I was only saying in Hindi that the next award is for a film not in the English language. Because while film speaks in countless voices, what we always celebrate is the language of cinema. And that one we all speak fluently.”

The award was presented to the Norwegian film Sentimental Value.

 Alia Bhatt’s Red Carpet Look

For her debut appearance at the BAFTAs, Alia Bhatt embraced old Hollywood glamour, drawing inspiration from icon Marilyn Monroe. She stunned on the red carpet in a custom silver gown by Gucci, paired elegantly with a white stole.
