Chandigarh, December 6:

Eight female students of government schools in Punjab will embark to Japan for a 7-day educational trip.

Divulging the further details, School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, disclosed that these students have been chosen for the Japan Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science, also known as the Sakura Exchange Program in Science.

He said that the selected students will be in Japan from December 10th to 16th, 2023. The selected students include Harmandeep Kaur from School of Eminence Mansa, Jasmeet Kaur from Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School Bhawanigarh, Sanjana from Government Senior Secondary Smart School Model Town Patiala, Sapna from Meritorious School Bathinda, Nisha Rani from School of Eminence Kapurthala, Gurwinder Kaur from Meritorious School Ferozepur, Deepika from Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School Maur Mandi, and Khawahish from Government Senior Secondary Smart School Randhawa, Massandan, Jalandhar.
