Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India observes swachhata activities

The Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, through its various sub ordinate offices observed Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign 2024, themed “Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata,” today.

Pruning of trees:  BIS, NRL, Mohali conducted a tree pruning activity where branches of the trees were removed selectively to improve its structure, promote new growth, and keep it healthy.

Plantation of saplings:  IILM, Ranchi organized a plantation sapling event today. All the office staff planted different saplings around the office. Saplings were also planted at RRSL, Faridabad and RRSL, Varanasi.

Clean and safe drinking water: A team of NTH (NR), Ghaziabad have visited a composite school (Kanya) in Raispur Village to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and safe drinking water. During the visit, we engaged students in discussions on maintaining a healthy environment and practicing good hygiene. As a further gesture of support, NTH donated two ceiling fans, enhancing the comfort and well-being of the children. Witnessing the enthusiasm of both students and staff as they embraced these values was truly inspiring.
