Key Projects Inaugurated in Maladh Village and Kishanpur Block

The Chief Minister’s visit began with a tour of ward number-12 (Mahadalit Tola) in Maladh village, located in the Kishanpur block of Supaul. There, he assessed the progress of ongoing developmental schemes and inaugurated several projects that will benefit the local community.

One of the major projects inaugurated by CM Nitish Kumar was the construction of a Chhath Ghat at the public pond in Maladh. This new facility is designed to provide a safe and accessible place for devotees to perform rituals during the Chhath festival, which holds significant religious importance in Bihar.

Additionally, the CM inaugurated solar lights across four wards of Maladh Panchayat, helping to improve nighttime visibility and safety for local residents. As part of his focus on improving the education system, the CM also inaugurated newly constructed buildings for primary schools, ensuring that children in rural areas have access to better learning environments.

Strengthening Child Welfare and Infrastructure in Supaul

As part of his visit, CM Nitish Kumar also inspected the Integrated Child Development Project (ICDP) in Supaul. The ICDP plays a vital role in addressing the needs of children and expecting mothers through nutrition, health services, and education. The CM interacted with the children and discussed the welfare programs aimed at improving their health and development.

Additionally, the CM inaugurated the newly constructed two-lane ROB (Road Over Bridge) and access road on National Highway No. 327A in Saraigarh, at a total cost of Rs 29.90 crore. During the event, cheques for the sanctioned amounts were also handed over to beneficiaries under various development schemes. This included financial assistance for agriculture, housing, and other welfare programs that aim to empower the local population economically.

CM Nitish Kumar’s Focus on Rural Development

The inauguration of these projects reflects CM Nitish Kumar’s commitment to transforming Bihar’s rural infrastructure. By focusing on essential services like education, road construction, and public welfare, the state government aims to create a more equitable and inclusive society. The emphasis on solar lighting and renewable energy also aligns with the government’s goals of sustainable development and environmental consciousness.

The Panchayat-level infrastructure improvements, including Chhath Ghats and solar street lights, are expected to make a significant difference in the daily lives of rural residents, providing them with better amenities and enhanced public services.

Conclusion: A Step Toward Comprehensive Rural Development
