CM Dr. Yadav expresses gratitude to Central Government for approving state governments proposal
Support price of soyabean fixed at Rs 4 thousand 892 per quintal
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s government is determined towards the welfare of farmers. In this sequence, the Central Government has approved the proposal sent by the state government and fixed the support price of soybean at Rs 4892 per quintal. The farmers of the state were very worried about the price of soyabean. A proposal was sent by state government to the Central Government for increasing the fixed support price of soyabean, which has been approved by the Central Government.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed gratitude to the Central Government on behalf of the Annadatas (food producers) of the state for this decision taken in the interest of the farmers and said that the hike in the support price will uplift the condition of farmers.
It is noteworthy that in view of the demand of farmers, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav proposed in the Cabinet meeting to increase the rate of soyabean purchase on support price. In this, a proposal to increase the support price from Rs. 4 thousand to Rs. 4 thousand 892 was sent to the Central Government. Subsequently, Central Government approved the proposal.
