Bus-Truck Collision in Uttar Pradesh: 2 Dead, 16 Injured in Hathras

Two people were killed, and 16 others were injured in a collision between a double-decker bus and a truck near Toli village in Thana Sikandra Rao, Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday, July 11, as reported.

The incident occurred early in the morning, and police officials promptly reached the scene.

 

Hathras District Magistrate (DM) Ashish Kumar provided details about the accident, stating, “The incident occurred early in the morning, and police officials immediately reached the spot. Sixteen people were injured in the collision, and two have been killed. The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, ” as reported.

Visuals from the accident site showed the aftermath of the collision, with emergency responders working to assist the injured. The injured were rushed to Bagla District Hospital for immediate medical attention.

Five of the critically injured were referred to Aligarh Medical for further treatment due to the severity of their injuries.

The scene was chaotic as emergency services worked quickly to provide care and transport the injured to medical facilities.
