Strategically located in both villages and urban areas, these clinics offer free and dependable healthcare services close to people’s homes, dramatically improving everyday access to treatment.
This initiative marks a bold step in Punjab’s broader health sector reforms, seeking to bridge the gap between the public and essential medical services, particularly in underserved regions.
Health for All: A Grassroots Public Health Revolution
The clinics, staffed with trained doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and pharmacists, offer consultation, diagnostics, and medicines at zero cost. From minor ailments to preventive care, citizens can now walk into a clean, well-equipped facility without worrying about travel, cost, or long waits.

This multi-pronged strategy includes renovating district hospitals, enhancing diagnostic capacity, digitalizing health records, and ensuring skilled workforce deployment.
