Patna, 2nd December, 2024: – A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary, Food and Supplies Department with all the District Supply Officers of Bhagalpur, Munger, Patna and Magadh Divisions, all the Sub Divisional Officers, all the District Managers, State Food Corporation and all the District Cooperative Officers. Following instructions were given by the Secretary, Department of Food & Civil Supplies in the meeting:- All the officials will monitor this work at the individual level to bring the work to the centre, as well as hold meetings with the public representatives to ensure that this work is expedited.
Paddy procurement till 02.12.2024 is 68473 tonnes. He directed the officers of all the districts to encourage the farmers to take advantage of the Minimum Support Price by selling paddy by reaching the Packs and Trade Mandals to procure more paddy.
