CHANDIGARH : Punjab Water Resources Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal officially dedicated a major agricultural infrastructure project to the public today. The state government launched the initial phase of the ambitious scheme to strengthen rural water management. Specifically, the Satluj Irrigation Project Phase 1 will provide canal water directly to local agricultural fields. The state government prepared and completed this first phase at a total cost of ₹36.50 crore.
