Patiala: Ahead of the upcoming monsoon season, a detailed Patiala Rainwater Drainage Inspection was conducted across several vulnerable areas of the city to review the rainwater drainage and water disposal system.
The Patiala Rainwater Drainage Inspection covered key locations including Tiwana Chowk, 100 Feet Road, Badi Nadi, Chhoti Nadi, Daulatpur Bridge, and Shanti Nagar to assess preparedness for heavy rainfall and possible waterlogging situations.
Patiala Rainwater Drainage Inspection Focuses on Flood Prevention
During the Patiala Rainwater Drainage Inspection, officials examined stormwater drains and natural water channels to identify blockages, weak points, and areas requiring urgent maintenance.
Balbir Singh directed concerned departments to ensure immediate cleaning of drains and strengthen the drainage infrastructure so that smooth water flow is maintained during heavy rains.
