Mumbai:   Filmmaker Karan Johar has addressed the recent buzz around his sudden Instagram activity, where he unfollowed several Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Ananya Panday, and Manish Malhotra. The unexpected move triggered widespread discussion on social media.

Clarifying the situation, Karan Johar explained that it was simply a Karan Johar social media detox, aimed at reducing his time and energy spent on Instagram. He stated that the decision was personal and should not be turned into unnecessary controversy.
