A political controversy has intensified in Punjab after remarks targeting Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann sparked a sharp response from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). AAP leader Baltej Pannu strongly criticized Congress leader Ravneet Bittu and rejected the allegations made against the Chief Minister.
AAP Punjab General Secretary and Media In-Charge Baltej Pannu slams Ravneet Bittu over his comments, stating that CM Bhagwant Mann has been democratically elected by the people of Punjab and does not require any political “certification” from opposition leaders. He called the remarks misleading and politically motivated.

Baltej Pannu also questioned Ravneet Bittu’s statements and raised several issues related to national security concerns. He asked why investigations into major terror incidents such as the Pulwama and Pahalgam attacks have not reached clear conclusions regarding accountability.

He further raised questions about the Pathankot airbase attack, asking who was responsible for involving Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI in any form of investigation after the incident. According to him, such matters require transparency instead of political allegations.

Reiterating his attack, Baltej Pannu slams Ravneet Bittu again while defending CM Bhagwant Mann, stating that the Chief Minister represents the mandate of nearly 3 crore people of Punjab and should not be targeted with derogatory labels or baseless accusations.
