Punjab has witnessed one of its most aggressive anti-crime drives in recent years as the state government escalates its crackdown on organized criminal networks. According to official data shared on the Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab social media handle, the Gangstran Te Vaar campaign has resulted in 30,721 arrests, 77,895 raids, and the recovery of 569 illegal weapons.

The Gangstran Te Vaar campaign reflects a large-scale, coordinated effort by Punjab Police under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to dismantle deep-rooted gang networks operating across the state. Authorities claim that the operation is systematically targeting the infrastructure of organized crime rather than isolated incidents.

Intelligence-Led Crackdown Targets Criminal Ecosystem Under Gangstran Te Vaar Campaign

Officials associated with the government state that the Gangstran Te Vaar campaign is focused on eliminating the ecosystem that has historically enabled gangsters to operate with impunity.
