Patna, 29 November 2024: On the death anniversary of the esteemed freedom fighter, Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh, Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar led a solemn tribute to honor his legacy. The event took place at the Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh Smriti Vatika, where the Chief Minister garlanded the statue of the revered figure, marking his profound contribution to India’s independence struggle.
In a gesture of respect and remembrance, Nitish Kumar also paid homage to his late mother, Parameshwari Devi, and his wife, Manju Sinha, by offering flowers at their statues. The presence of family members and close relatives of the Chief Minister added to the emotional significance of the ceremony.
The tribute ceremony was attended by a number of political and social leaders. Among them were Minister for Minority Welfare, Shri M. As part of the commemorative activities, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also visited his ancestral village, Kalyan Bigha, where he offered prayers at the Bhagwati Mandir (Devi Sthan).
