Chandigarh, 27 February 2026 : After the court verdict on Friday to acquit Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and others in the alleged liquor scam case, the Punjab unit of the Aam Aadmi Party celebrated the verdict with great enthusiasm at the party office in Chandigarh.
The celebrations witnessed vibrant scenes as party leaders and workers danced to the beats of dhol, performed bhangra and distributed ladoos to mark what they described as the “victory of truth and honest politics.” Senior leaders including Harpal Singh Cheema, Aman Arora, Hardeep Singh Mundian, and Harjot Singh Bains joined hundreds of party workers in the celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, leaders said the court’s verdict has reaffirmed people’s faith in the judiciary and exposed what they termed as politically motivated allegations against AAP’s top leadership. They stated that the decision has strengthened the party’s resolve to continue working for education, healthcare and public welfare with greater commitment.
