Haryana Social Justice, Empowerment, SCs and BCs Welfare and Antyodaya Minister Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi emphasized that the traditions of Sanatan Dharma are more than religious rituals—they form the essence of Indian culture. He said that large-scale events like the 108-Kund Maha Yagya, aimed at environmental purification and reconnecting people with Sanatan culture, play a key role in fostering social unity and strengthening the spirit of nation-building.

Speaking at a gathering in Jind during a religious programme, after participating in the Maha Aarti of the 103rd Maha Yagya conducted under the guidance of Jagatguru Peethadhish Chakravarti Yagya Samrat Shri Shri 1008 Hariom Ji Maharaj, Bedi highlighted the spiritual and moral foundations of Indian culture.

Krishan Kumar Bedi Highlights Spiritual and Moral Foundations of Indian Culture

Krishan Kumar Bedi said that Indian culture is deeply rooted in spirituality, morality, and the highest ideals of humanity. Saints and great personalities, through their teachings, penance, and sacrifices, have guided society along the path of truth, non-violence, compassion, and service.

The Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi further noted India’s rich tradition of knowledge, preserved through sacred texts such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, and epics. While the Ramayana teaches dignity, duty, and ideal conduct, the Mahabharata conveys the triumph of truth in the struggle between righteousness and unrighteousness. The Bhagavad Gita, he added, inspires individuals to perform their duties, practice selfless action, and remain steadfast in the face of life’s challenges.
